A Superb Set of Seven Very Large White Linen Damask Napkins, Embroidered with "EW" monogram, Royal Saxon Provenance, 27x28"

This exceptional set of seven large, luxe and beautifully heavy linen napkins are woven with swags of flowers and are embroidered with the initials "EW" inside a shield-shaped cartouche, surmounted by a three-lobed flower. The woven pattern is beautiful and the quality is superb. These are large, important and impressive. They measure 27x28", extremely large and wonderful. The condition is pristine. c.1900.
