Extraordinary but imperfect Antique White Linen and Lace Embroidered Figural Cutwork Centerpiece, 32" round

This antique white linen centerpiece is beautifully embroidered with eyelet and satin stitch designs, interesting needle point lace fills, filet lace inserts of classical figures and a "BAF" monogram. They are the initials of the heiress to a department store family. Born 1887-1968. It measures 32". The condition is mostly excellent except for one filet lace panel which has damage. c.1900-20s.
