A Splendid Antique White Duvet Cover with Wonderful Ruffles, 64x48"

This fine lightweight white cotton antique duvet cover is a pouf of romantic ruffles. The edge is surrounded by ruffles and it also has embroidered lace across the front through which I have threaded peach ribbon.

It opens on one side for a comforter to be inserted but it also looks lovely without being filled. It is unusual and is particularly airy and gorgeous!

It measures 48x64" not including the 4.5" ruffle. The condition is excellent even with a small area of discoloration. c. 2oth century.
