A Wonderful Antique Figural White Damask Towel with Archer, "the Commodore," Hotel? 17.5x38"

This wonderful antique white linen-cotton, known as metis (or possibly just cotton) towel is woven with a wonderful pattern, an archery person and the words "The Commodore." It probably came from a hotel. The fabric is slightly coarse and the design can be hard to see. It measures 17.5x38". The condition is excellent. c. 20th century. Stock 21006
