Magnificent Set of Seven Very Large White Linen Damask Napkins, 36x38" with Royal Crown, Dated 1907

This exceptional set of seven napkins are woven with ferns, fronds and foliage and are embroidered in Turkey red with the monogram of George II of Sachsen-Meiningen and dated 1907 beneath the crown and letter "G". (crown - coronet/G/1907) The woven pattern is beautiful and the quality is superb. They measure 36x38". (more than the width of a yardstick) The condition is excellent. These have been freshly laundered; they are wonderful. c.1907. Stock 10902
