Ancient Antique and Brilliant Hand Colored Engraving, Rhabarbarum (XVI century)

This great handcolored print is a page from a blackletter book by Wolfgang Meyerpeck, c.1570. This page is Rhabarbarum and it has brilliant and wonderful colors even though the printing on the reverse does ghost through a bit. The mat measures 13.75x18" and the image size is 7.5x12". I bought them many years ago for myself, but changed my decor before I ever used or displayed these. As you can tell, I love things that are really, really old! Stock 0237
