Antique Painted & Inlaid Mahogany Carrying Box This is an absolutely beautiful Mahogany box with inlaid satinwood borders and a conch sheel painted to simulate a marquetry inlaid design. It has a brass handle for carrying. This lovely item dates to the 19th century and would make a wonderful 21st century dresser box or jewelry box.
