This rare, unused 19th century Victorian linen damask/jacquard tablecloth has an exceptional woven double medallion floral pattern in the center surrounded by Turkey red border stripes.
The fabric is wonderfully fine and lustrous; it looks brand new, even though it is more than a century old. It is spectacular, amazing in person. It measures 100x52" including the fringe. Pristine condition, offered "as discovered." (if you'd prefer it to be laundered first, please let me know. But it does not need to be. It is fabulous.) c.1875-1900.
Why it's rare: It dates from the mid-19th century, the condition is perfect (even the fringe) because it had never been used or laundered until I laundered it... and it is beautiful.
