Gorgeous White Linen Damask Towel Embroidered in Blues with "Blue Willow" Chinese Woman and Lantern with Tatting and Scalloped Ends, 17x32"

This wonderful vintage white linen/cotton damask towel is woven with stripes and it is embroidered with blue overcast scallops on the front edge. The back is edged with blue and white tatted lace. The figural subject matter is unusual and very neat!

The condition is very good but it does show signs of wear and use. (light stain) c. 20th century.
