Wonderful Antique Translucent Long White Cotton Christening Gown or Dress Embroidered with Tiny Flowers and Pintuck Pleats

This beautiful antique long white cotton Christening gown is embellished with borders of vertical pintucks flanking the beautiful floral whitework embroidery. There is a vertical border of flowers centered down the front which also encircles the bottom above the scalloped hem. The wrists and collar also are finished with overcast scallops.

It closes in the back with two tiny buttons. The wok is fine and beautiful; this is a stellar piece!
