Gorgeous Antique Baby Shirt with machine-made Valenciennes Lace Edged Sleeves, Hemstitched Collar

This gorgeous antique white cotton baby shirt or top is edged with machine-made Valenciennes lace at the wrists and it closes in the back but I am not sure what kept it closed. The design is adorable; it has a sailor-type collar both front and back.

the length from shoulder is 8.5" The condition is imperfect. c. 20th century. Stock 24256.
