This very fine antique white linen pillowcase is embroidered in Turkey red tambour work (chain stitch) with a wheat grain medallion and the monogram "MAC". It will come with a brand new down blend pillow insert and, even though it is fragile, it looks amazing as an accent pillow. This pillowcase opens at the top. It measures 25x16.5". The condition is imperfect; there are many holes and wear but it is uncommonly old and uncommonly sweet. if you love old Turkey red and fine fabric, this will not disappoint! c.1840-70s. Stock 24101.
