Magnificent Dozen Antique White Linen Damask Napkins Embroidered with "ESP" monogram, 32x31"

This exquisite set of 12 very large white linen damask napkins is woven with a beautiful pattern of flowering lilac branches and is embroidered in one corner with an exceptional and fanciful monogram "ESP" within a diamond. Each napkin is a mere 6" shy of being a yard wide.

They are exceptionally heavy, lustrous and perfect and it is rare to find an entire dozen of such enormous size and quality that have been untouched. The condition is pristine. They had never been used, nor laundered, until now. Warning: they can, and will, melt your heart. c. 19th or early 20th century. Stock 23407.
