Four Superb and Rare Antique White Linen Damask Napkins with Turkey Red Sealife Scene, Crayfish / Lobster inside Seashell, Red Borders and Wispy Fringe, 12.5" Imperfect but Amazing

This set of 4 antique bright white linen napkins have a fabulous sealife scene in each corner but it is woven in Turkey red in one corner. The color has faded to a mellow soft coral. In the center is a creature peeking out of his shell. They measure 12.5". They were well used; condition is imperfect. They are fine and worn thin, but the weave and the subject matter is unsurpassed, c.19th century. Stock 22221.
