This large and breathtaking antique white linen sheet is exquisitely embroidered with some of the most superb and masterful embroidery work, ever. The flowers are embroidered with different techniques, some are very highly padded satin stitch, some have petals with exquisite drawnwork fills. Some would say it rivals the work of the French or the Swiss! I, myself, would say that it is the very best of the very best of Italian handwork!

It is unimaginably beautiful. The design is glorious, the work is exquisite and the entire thing is large and lovely. It's heavenly!

It measures 106" wide by 102" long. Superb condition, superb piece. Italy, c.1900.
