Superb Antique White Cotton Collar Embroidered with Whitework Shamrocks and Handmade Lace, 14.5x5.5"

This gorgeous antique translucent white cotton collar is embroidered with a beautiful floral vine / shamrock border closer to the lace-trimmed edge. It measures 5.5x14.5".

It has been deaccessioned from a museum collection and it has the museum i.d. number sewn on the reverse. The condition is wonderful for collecting and for study although it does have wear and repairs. c. 19th-20th century. Stock 18214.
