Superb Antique White Cotton Collar Embroidered with Whitework Flowers and Dotted Diamonds, 12x3"

This gorgeous antique white cotton collar is embroidered with a beautiful floral vine design closer to the neck and a tiny scalloped hemstitched border that divides it from the flower-filled diamond scalloped edge. It measures 3x12".

It has been deaccessioned from a museum collection and it has the museum i.d. number sewn on the reverse. The condition is lovely although it does have some holes and wear. It would be a singular addition to a collection of either whitework or collars. c. 20th century. Stock 18212
