Superb Antique White Cotton Collar Embroidered with Whitework Flowers and Eyelet, 12x2.5"

This gorgeous antique white cotton collar is embroidered with a beautiful floral vine design in teensy tiny stitches and it has overcast scalloped edges with clusters of flowers inside the scallops. There is a row of hemstitching that divides it. It measures 2.5x12". p>

It has been deaccessioned from a museum collection and it has the museum i.d. number sewn on the reverse. The condition is imperfect; it does have some holes and wear. c.19th-20th century. Stock 18207
