Superb and Fine Doily of Handmade White Needle Lace / Point de Venise with Bee or Dragonfly and Fruit Design, 6.25"

This superb white linen antique Point de Venise needlelace doily features a dragonfly (or bee) design alternating with a flower around the edge and it has fruit in the center. There are picots on the bars and glorious interesting fills in the insect wings and in the flower petals.

It measures 6.25". The condition is excellent; the workmanship s superb and the design is exquisite. c. 20th century.
