A Superb Antique Irish White Linen Damask Banquet-sized Tablecloth Hand woven with Striped Field, Celtic Knot Borders, embroidered with "LMC" monogram, 89x125" This antique linen damask tablecloth is woven with a simple but gorgeous striped field. One "LMC" monogram is beautifully embroidered on the diagonal. Along the (hand-sewn) hem edge is woven "Walpole Brothers, LTd, Irish Hand Woven Linen Damask, Belfast." In the corner is woven a small thistle and the letter "A". (possibly the weaver's mark?) The condition is excellent. There is a faint discoloration near the monogram. c.19th-early 20th century. Stock 21458. $750. There are two identically woven tablecloths, each a slightly different size and with a different monogram. Stock 21459. $750.
