A Superb Mid-19th century Antique Woven Linen Towel "DL" or "LD" monogram, 23x30" This wonderful antique soft-white fringed towel is light-weight linen that was hand woven in an old double diamond diaper pattern. It is embroidered in the center of one end with a lovely "DL" or "LD" monogram. It was handwoven from flax that was grown in Saxony by an Austrian family. It measures 23x30". Excellent condition, c.1850-60s. Two are available. Stock 0478; 0503. $46.
