Cynthia’s Antique & Vintage Linens
This antique long mustard gold chenille portiére has cream and brown floral and foliate borders and outrageously interesting knotted and fringed ends. The color and inviting texture will warm up any room. The top edge has a smaller border and incredibly intricate fringe and the bottom has a wider border and smaller fringes. (It is upside down in the top photo.) It is made to be flung over a rod with the finished end and fring visible on the same side. Each measures 43.5x107" without the fringe and 116" with the fringe. There are some stains, holes, and losses to the fringes, but overall they are pretty amazing. (They are slightly dingy from long storage; you may want to dry clean them before using... or, you could be like me and happily use them as they are! :-) ) c.1900. Offered "as discovered."
