This magnificent antique white linen button-in style pillow sham is utterly exquisite. It is superbly embroidered with a whitework "TC" or "CT" monogram in the center. It also has drawnwork or "withdrawn thread" borders accentuated with sol wheel lace circles. The wheel lace is also known as Nanduti or Tenerife lace, depending on its origins.

It closes with buttons in the back. It measures 29x31" high. The condition is excellent. c. 20th century.
