Cynthia’s Antique & Vintage Linens
This is one of those pieces that is extraordinary in person but does not photograph very well. The gold metallic threads on this spectacular cream silk runner are woven, basket-like, and couched down to the base layer to form different kinds of magnificent and lifelike flowers, including carnations. It measures 46x22". The condition is excellent although it has a little wear. c.19th century or possibly earlier. Stock 19148. $300. (the following links are not yet activated.)
