Superb Antique Cream Wool Drawstring Bag Embroidered with Silk Society Work on both Sides

This beautiful antique drawstring purse is made of fine cream-colored wool and it is embroidered in silk with a different design on each side. One side has pink flowers and the other has maidenhair ferns. It is satin lined. It measures 7.5x8".

The condition is imperfect; there are scattered moth holes. The color on one side has run. However, it is very very pretty in person! c.1880-1900.
