Superb Unusual, Unused and Un-Finished Pair of Antique Velveteen Slippers Embroidered with Lovely White Daisy Flowers Apparently, one of the most popular gifts you could give in the late 19th century were slippers that you made yourself! This unfinished pair of antique velveteen and embroidered slippers were embroidered but were never cut out or sewn together. They have white daisies and green foliage embroidered on a black velveteen ground which is still attached to paper. It measures approx. 24x12"". The condition is excellent. Never used, nor laundered.
