This superb antique tea sized cream linen tablecloth has compelling embroidery in a design that is almost a cross between the Mission Style, Art Nouveau and the Arts and Crafts movement. It is embroidered in a silky champagne-colored thread with a repeating pattern of swirls and pierced, radiating fans. The teacloth is edged with handmade Cluny bobbin lace edging with sunflower centers and wheatear petals.

The condition is excellent. It is breathtaking piece. c. 19th century.
