This is an unusual off-white linen runner with hand-crocheted lace edges. The show-stopping aspect is in the enormous and lovely hand hooked roses in brilliant red and pink with green foliage outlined in black. The roses are thick and three-dimensional and are like a punched rug. You'd have to see it in person to really believe it; it has a lot of history and presence! I have never seen this technique used on a runner, but it is in lovely condition, lovely to look at and actually looks brand new. It measures 16x25". c.1920-40. Stock 0307. $90.
