An Extraordinary Antique Ivory Silk and Linen Damask Bobbin Lace-edged Tablecloth and Dozen Vey Large 28" Napkins Embroidered with "CBS" Monogram, 100" diameter round This superb antique set is woven with a magnolia pattern and it is embroidered with "CBS" monograms and the tablecloth has bobbin lace hems. The bobbin lace is made into shamrocks. The fabric is whisper-weight ecru silk damask with about a zillion thread count. (no, I didn't even try to count them) The set is breathtaking. The tablecloth measures 100" and the twelve large napkins are 27.75x28". The condition is mostly excellent, there are some darned repairs on the tablecloth and an eraser head-sized hole that is not quite a hole. The flaws are minimal against the expanse of the chmapagne colored silk. The napkins are fine although one has a small spot. c.1900-30s. Stock 22202. $2,800.
