This heavy, luxurious and historic white linen damask tablecloth is woven with geometrical motifs in an all-over diaper pattern and it is embroidered in one corner with a crown above a "G" monogram above the date, 1880. This cloth is of supreme quality as well as supreme beauty!

Rare and spectacular, with provenance from the House of Saxe-Meiningen. Three are available; they are all freshly laundered. It measures 88x131". The condition is pristine even with some faint stains, a small gray spot and an old darned repair next to an edge border. c.1880.
