This exceptional set of seven napkins are woven with ferns, fronds and foliage and are embroidered in Turkey red with the monogram of George II of Sachsen-Meiningen and dated 1907 beneath the crown and letter "G". (crown - coronet/G/1907)

The woven pattern is beautiful and the quality is superb. They measure 36x38". (more than the width of a yardstick) The condition is excellent. These have been freshly laundered; they are wonderful. c.1907.
